COURSE: AQUA AEROBICS

Aqua aerobics is one of the few sports that can be undertaken by anyone – regardless of height, weight, build, gender or age. As water has therapeutic qualities, this is a good form of exercise for people with injuries, medical problems and pre/post natal women. Aqua aerobics uses a combination of exercise routines to improve cardiovascular endurance, conditioning exercises to strengthen muscles and stretching to increase flexibility. The increased resistance to movement combined with the use of aqua exercise equipment, make this an effective total body workout. As classes have different choreography (e.g, aqua-circuits, martial arts and various dance movements), aqua aerobics becomes a fun and enjoyable workout.
