COURSE: AQUA AEROBICS

Aqua aerobics is one of the few sports that can be undertaken by anyone – regardless of height, weight, build, gender or age. As water has therapeutic qualities, this is a good form of exercise for people with injuries, medical problems and pre/post natal women. Aqua aerobics uses a combination of exercise routines to improve cardiovascular endurance, conditioning exercises to strengthen muscles and stretching to increase flexibility.┬áThe increased resistance to movement combined with the use of aqua exercise equipment, make this an effective total body workout. As classes have different choreography (e.g, aqua-circuits, martial arts and various dance movements), aqua aerobics becomes a fun and enjoyable workout.
